Best piece of music news to me since Jay Sean signed to Cash Money 
Drizzy told MTV’s Sucker Free: “I went up to Rikers, and me and Wayne agreed that there will be a Lil Wayne / Drake album. There’s some things I’m excited for in my life, I’m excited to go perform certain places, but this project will probably be one of the most exciting things in my life, because we make music on a different level. It’s just so fun, so comfortable. A whole album?
“To think about all the things we can do, especially if we’re gonna do 15 songs. Me and him don’t like to do 12, 13 songs. We want to do 15, 16. Yeah, Lil Wayne and Drake album.”

Both Drake and Chris Brown refer to their relationships to Rihanna in their respective songs…shes a lucky girl?
Rumours circulated that Drake and Rihanna were a couple last year when they spent time at New York bowling alley Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge, where they were allegedly spotted kissing throughout the evening. Recentyly, he has been rumoured to be speaking about Rihanna in his song ‘Fireworks’ featuring Alicia Keys, The 23-year-old raps:
“I’m just such a gentleman… I can tell it wasn’t loveI just thought you f**k with me/Who could have predicted, lucky strike, would have you stuck with me?/I kept my wits about me luckily/What happened between us that night, it always seems to trouble me/Now all of a sudden these gossip brags wanna cover me, and you making it seem that it happened that way because of me.”
Drake recently told Billboard that he had written about a past fling on ‘Fireworks’, saying: “In the second verse, I address the relationship that I’m often questioned about and I duck and dodge questions about it.” Which more or less confirms it.
The song ‘Deuces’ by Chris Brown featuring Lil Wayne’s protégé Tyga and Kevin McCall, has just hit the Internet and is rumoured to be about Rihanna aswell. The second song hails from a collaborative mixtape titled “Fan of a Fan,” which was released online last week as a thank you to their respective fan bases. Chris sings:
“All that bullshit is for the birds
You aint nothin but a vulture
Always hopin for the worst
Waiting for me to fuck up up
You’ll regret the day when I find another girl, yeah
Who knows just what I need, she knows just what I mean
When I tell her keep it drama free”
Nice Chris very nice ¬.¬ But the song is really good and the video is uber cool. Colin Tilley is an amazing director!

His best video to date. The storyline really compliments the song without overwhelming it and also leaves us on edge. Mavado plays his role well as do all of the characters, the lead girl is played by professional model Maliah Michel, whos featured in videos with the likes of Fabolous, Trey Songz, Lloyd and Game. Shot in Kingston, Jamaica by Anthony Mandler who also directed ‘Over‘ the lead single off the debut album Thank Me Later, this being the second single. I love this song as it shows Drakes diversity as an artist and the Kanye West production is major. It also feels like a really personal song which always helps.

I LOVE IT! Its like it was deisgned for/by me lol. My favourite 2 colours and this beautiful clean graffiti effect. It also seems to have a subtle 3D effect created by the red, blurring into the background. Im really glad he made a statement and didnt go for the safe option of just photographing your face and putting it on the album…no offence Jay Sean. Probably because, everyone whos anyone knows who he is, so he dosent need to make himself known.

One of the most anticipated if not the most anticipated video and single in Hip-Hop for a long time…Drake’s Buzz is indeniable, with a huge fanbase already established with out dropping an album. His debut album Thank Me Later set to drop someimte in June. The video is quite clever and makes use of some really cool effects, contrary to 90% of ‘Urban’ videos out now. Drake is mostly show in one room, which is reminiscent of when he says ‘Never see me out, cos i live in my work place’ in one of his songs. ‘Life’ is projected on the walls surrounding him…Another interesting bit is where he says ‘i swear this life is like the sweetest thing ive ever known’ which contrast with a mush room cloud in the background possiblythe A-Bomb on Hiroshima. Also, in the video is Rita Ora the Uk Hottie who is an upcoming singer, who looks absolutely stunning She previously featured on Craig David’s ‘Where’s Your Love’ watch her career rocket now
