Sometimes an artist does a cover and you’re like…

why the F did they just kill that song? ¬.¬  But this isn’t one of them ones. I absoultely love this and her voice is just uhmazing :D

What’s my name?

Drake and Rihanna of course. Their chemistry is on fire. Red hot. The song recently leapt from 60-1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The second single from the pop star’s fifth album Loud marks her eighth Hot 100 No. 1 over her career and third this year following “Rude Boy” and “Love the Way You Lie” with Eminem. The island-infused tune debuts at No. 1 on the Digital Songs chart with sales of 235,000 downloads. Additionally, the track earned Airplay Gainer on Radio Songs with a 30 percent increase in audience.

RiRi also holds the No. 4 spot on the Hot 100 with ‘Only Girl (In the World),’ while Far East Movement’s “Like a G6” lands at No. 2, Bruno Mars’ “Just the Way You Are” charts at No. 3, and Ke$ha’s “We R Who We R” drops 1-5.

The red-headed singer’s collaborator Drake has reason to celebrate as well, earning his first No. 1 on the Hot 100. His mixtape So Far Gone, single ‘Best I Ever Had‘ peaked at No. 2 last year.

iSHi distort that bass, man grew up in a raw estate!

now…everytime i draw my dates, they’re like how’d you afford this place? boasts Tinie, the answer’s by going commercial. But he still goes hard on this track they all do the only exception being Chipmunk. He just slept on the track. Good thing he went last, then Tinchy revives it, he’s sick ‘ask Mick Foley im not Man kind’ apart from all his recent soppy stuff he’s alright. Everyone else definetly killed it in their own signature way.

The production is probably the best part of the track iSHi went haaaard. Also, the producer of Tinie’s 2nd number 1 single  ‘Written In The Stars

Tinie>Green>Devlin>Giggs>Tinchy>Example>Chipmunk.

3rd Single off Tinchy’s new album Third Strike out in November.

That slumdog millionaire Bollywood flow…

Akshay Kumar is set to work with Drake and also Ludacris. The actor and musician are joining forces on a music video for Akki’s upcoming flick, Breakaway, and the Grammy award winning rapper is currently in Canada to work with Akshay on the project. “It’s going to be very exciting to collaborate with Ludacris. It’s great to work with such big artists from across the globe,” Akshay told the Times of India

Directed by Robert Lieberman, Breakaway is an English-Punjabi comedy that tells the story of South Asian immigrants and how they adapt to a new life in a new country.

According to the buzz, Toronto based actor Vinay Virmani and 10000 BC actress Camilla Belle have allegedly signed on for the lead roles, while Akshay has roped in Canadian comedian Russell Peters, as well as Hollywood hunk Rob Lowe, most known nowadays for his role on the hit TV series Brothers & Sisters. Cast and crew have started shooting in Toronto and the movie will hopefully hit theaters sometime next year.

And Ludacris, who most recently was featured on Justin Bieber’s smash hit single ‘Baby,’ is not the only international singer who has been roped in for the production! Anupam Kher took to Twitter the other day to talk about his on-set encounter with Drake! “Filming with Drake, the biggest name in Hip Hop. Breakaway rocks,” he tweeted.

Set to be released 15 September 2011 in Canda.

EVERYONE watch MTV now!

Kanye West premiers his epic 35 minute short film/music video for his track ‘Runaway‘ featuring Pusha T. Nicki Minaj narrates the intro in her British accent. Video centers around a phoenix crashing to Earth. Should be good and possibly win a few awards or suttin.

This is raw. Nothing else. “Banned in the USA!!! They tried to play me fam! They don’t want me chilling on the couch with my phoenix!” tweeted Yeezy before posting the controversial artwork. Capture his 6th studio album dropping November 22.

Rihanna confirms Drake duet :D

Drake, previously mentioned him doing a little something for Rihanna, for her upcoming 5th studio album Loud.

“Drake is such a cool guy, man. He’s like one of my great friends,” RiRi told BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Max in a recent interview. “We actually just did a song together that’s gonna be on the album. The second single, we did a version with him, and who knows, we may shoot a video for it.”

The follow-up to “Only Girl (In the World)” is reportedly “What’s My Name,” for which Rihanna filmed a video on the streets of New York City last weekend.

“I just did this great song with Rihanna so I hope we get to shoot a video for that too,” Drake previously told MTV News. “I’m really excited about that song.”

You feel like you miss those happy days well girl that makes two of us <3

A 5 star line up produces a sick remix. Especially the work done by 40 (Noah Shebib) on Drakes verse where he subtly blends it in and out, while making the beat more remorseful. Even the little Drake reference to ‘Miss Me‘ is genius and well executed ‘So you gon diss me even though you know it’s wrong
know you gon (miss me a little when I’m gone)’ in a way it seemed so expectant.
